Joined K-RE100

In April 2023, KevinLAB joined K-RE100 with the goal of ‘ultimately responding to climate change through new and renewable energy solutions.’ K-RE100 is a Korean RE100 system that can build a foundation for participation in the global renewable energy campaign (RE100), which aims to convert 100% of the power consumed by companies to renewable energy by 2050. KevinLAB is making efforts to implement RE100 by understanding our energy use structure and power usage status in order to systematically implement RE100.

Advanced EMS Focusing on Scope 1 and 2

To achieve the national greenhouse gas reduction target of a 40% reduction by 2030 compared to 2018 (as of 2023), buildings and companies need to manage Scope 1 (non-electricity energy sources at facilities) and Scope 2 (electricity at facilities) carbon emissions. KevinLAB aims to enhance its EMS software to enable companies and buildings to quantify and visualize environmental data for Scope 1 and 2 emissions. This will facilitate effective greenhouse gas emissions management and contribute to accelerating the transition to renewable energy.

Pada bulan April 2023, KevinLAB bergabung dengan K-RE100 dengan tujuan "mengatasi perubahan iklim melalui solusi energi terbarukan." K-RE100 adalah program RE100 bergaya Korea yang membangun fondasi bagi perusahaan untuk berpartisipasi dalam kampanye energi terbarukan global (RE100), yang bertujuan untuk mengubah 100% konsumsi listrik mereka menjadi energi terbarukan pada tahun 2050. KevinLAB berupaya keras untuk menerapkan RE100 secara sistematis, termasuk dengan memahami struktur penggunaan energi dan status konsumsi listrik kita.

Kemajuan EMS berpusat pada SCOPE 1,2

Untuk mencapai target pengurangan gas rumah kaca nasional 2030 sebesar 40% (berdasarkan data tahun 2018) dibandingkan tahun 2018, gedung dan bisnis harus mengelola emisi karbon mereka baik dalam LINGKUP 1 (tidak termasuk listrik dari lokasi bisnis) maupun LINGKUP 2 (listrik dari lokasi bisnis). KevinLAB akan mengembangkan perangkat lunak EMS-nya untuk mengukur dan memvisualisasikan data lingkungan bagi bisnis dan gedung dalam LINGKUP 1 dan 2, yang memungkinkan pengelolaan emisi gas rumah kaca.
